Q?How much notice do you require to accept orders for removals?

Contact Inverness Removals up to one week before your move and we will accommodate your request. Our one week notice period also applies for cancellations – please let us know as soon as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule your move, so we can make alternative arrangements with you. Q?Are your services insured?

All removals are undertaken by trained, experienced professionals who hold relevant qualifications. As a company, Inverness Removals holds comprehensive liability cover as well as Goods In Transit cover. This means that you and your valuables are protected during the removal process, as well as out on the road. Full details of our liability cover are available on request, and you can contact us to discuss the specifics of cover for high-value removals and deliveries.

Q?What happens if you cause damage to my goods?

Inverness Removals takes every care and precaution during the moving process, protecting your belongings with the right packaging materials and carefully handling heavy and delicate objects. Our vehicles are specially chosen for the jobs they do, and they are packed with precision to ensure careful transit. While on the move, our comprehensive insurance cover protects you against the unlikely event of loss or damage.

Of course, moving home is a physical task and occasionally things do go wrong. If an item is damaged during the move and we are able to repair it, we will do so right away. If the damage is beyond repair, we will always reimburse you for the cost. Of course, such incidents are rare and we do all we can to guarantee a swift, safe move every time.

Q?Do you pack on the day?

Nobody likes to leave things to the last minute – moving day is stressful enough without worrying about the packing! Inverness Removals will usually visit you the day before your move to get your home packed up and ready. Of course, we can leave a few things out so you can stay there one more night if you need – like the kettle, microwave and your bed!

Our packing service will make sure that your boxes and bags are well organised and everything is easy to find, so don’t worry if something you need got put away – you will be able to find it among your belongings. When we arrive the next day, we will help you grab your last few items and we will load everything into the van, ready to set off. In some cases, we know the day before just doesn’t fit with your schedule: we will do all that we can to be flexible.

Q?What kind of vehicles do you use?

Inverness Removals runs a reliable fleet of vans which have been hand-picked for their performance and safety. We have standard 3.5 tonne transit-style vans which are suitable for most small moves, and 7.5 tonne lorries which can carry large amounts of furniture and other belongings.

When you call to book your move, we will discuss the size and scale of the job and determine the right vehicle combination for your move. We can bring single vehicles or teams as needed, and make as many trips as necessary to get everything safely moved.

Q?How do I pay for the service?

Inverness Removals now offers a card payment service for customers. Use the secure Chip and Pin terminal to pay using your debit or credit card, or make your payment over the phone when you receive your invoice. You can also pay in cash if preferred.
